Once Andrew Pierce and Ashley Hudson met at their church in Hamburg they were certain that there was no turning to the other side. Ashley was just 17, and she'd never been with a man before. They took the relationship extremely slow. The two fell in love on first sight. On New Year's Eve right ahead of the year's beginning, Andrew asked God to grant him one last thing that year... that Ashley would say yes and get married to him. Ashley had always wanted a romantic, woodsy traditional wedding that reflected her and Andrew. Their wedding day was a mix of all their loves. Ashley's family owned 40 acres of backyard. Ashley knew the whole area, having walked through it and had a game in the area. Andrew and Ashley strolled through the exact area when they were engaged. It was important to personalize the event since the couple did almost all of the work themselves. Andrew's father and Ashley as well as Ashley created the wedding ceremony arch and the seating arch. Ashley made and painted some of the decorations for the wedding. Ashley states that if Anna Floral Designer at Magnolia Belle Floral, hadn't completed her incredible floral design to us, our wedding could have lacked the magical feeling I hoped it could. This is truly stunning.
